Sky Go App - Xbox One Sky go app - recently I cannot watch live tv on this app - I can download and watch catchup but not LIVE TV - I have reinstalled, cleared caches etc - but to no avail - any help will be greatly appreciated. You can download the Sky TV app to the XBox and watch through that. It takes one of your Sky Go device slots so should still be able to view. Bear in mind that you cannot record and only stream live channels or catch up/boxsets depending on subscription and not all channels are available. The Sky app (not called Sky Go for some reason) is available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. To help others who might be reading this - and to avoid igniting a tedious 'my console's better than your console' discussion - I'll cover both. But first, one crucial. Sky's TV app proved popular on Xbox 360, so it seemed odd that it was missing from Xbox One, especially since PlayStation 4 has had a Sky TV app since December 2014. On PS4 the Sky TV app requires a £5 Sky Go Extra subscription on top of your existing Sky subscription, it'll likely be the same on Xbox One, although you'll need a Xbox LIVE Gold.
